2013-01-23Implement the writer side of the global module index. Douglas Gregor
The global module index is a "global" index for all of the module files within a particular subdirectory in the module cache, which keeps track of all of the "interesting" identifiers and selectors known in each of the module files. One can perform a fast lookup in the index to determine which module files will have more information about entities with a particular name/selector. This information can help eliminate redundant lookups into module files (a serious performance problem) and help with creating auto-import/auto-include Fix-Its. The global module index is created or updated at the end of a translation unit that has triggered a (re)build of a module by scraping all of the .pcm files out of the module cache subdirectory, so it catches everything. very simple semantic analysis that just builds the AST; minor changes for lexer to pick up source locations I didn't think about before. Comments AST is modelled along the ideas of HTML AST: block and inline content. * Block content is a paragraph or a command that has a paragraph as an argument or verbatim command. * Inline content is placed within some block. 2010-08-18Generate Attr subclasses with TableGen.Sean Hunt
Now all classes derived from Attr are generated from TableGen. Additionally, Attr* is no longer its own linked list; SmallVectors or Attr* are used. The accompanying LLVM commit contains the updates to TableGen necessary for this. Some other notes about newly-generated attribute classes: - The constructor arguments are a SourceLocation and a Context&, followed by the attributes arguments in the order that they were defined in Attr.td - Every argument in Attr.td has an appropriate accessor named getFoo, and there are sometimes a few extra ones (such as to get the length of a variadic argument). Additionally, specific_attr_iterator has been introduced, which will iterate over an AttrVec, but only over attributes of a certain type.
