2012-10-25Remove exception handling usage from tblgen.Joerg Sonnenberger
Most places can use PrintFatalError as the unwinding mechanism was not used for anything other than printing the error. The single exception was CodeGenDAGPatterns.cpp, where intermediate errors during type resolution were ignored to simplify incremental platform development. bison parser. This makes the parser much easier to understand, eliminates a ton of global variables, and gives tblgen nice caret diagnostics. It is also faster, but tblgen probably doesn't care about performance. These changes modify the makefiles so that the output of flex and bison are placed in the SRC directory, not the OBJ directory. It is intended that they be checked in as any other LLVM source so that platforms without convenient access to flex/bison can be compiled.
