2014-05-16video: omap: delete support for early fbmem allocationAaro Koskinen
Commit 1e434f9318efc3dddc0c0b8d2071712668154c2b (OMAPFB: remove early mem alloc from old omapfb) deleted the support for early fbmem allocation from the platform code, but some code still remains in the driver side. Delete this code now, as it repotedly causes build issues on !MMU. The patch was tested on Amstrad E3 and Nokia 770 and framebuffer functionality is not affected. 2014-04-17video: move fbdev to drivers/video/fbdevTomi Valkeinen
The drivers/video directory is a mess. It contains generic video related files, directories for backlight, console, linux logo, lots of fbdev device drivers, fbdev framework files. Make some order into the chaos by creating drivers/video/fbdev directory, and move all fbdev related files there. No functionality is changed, although I guess it is possible that some subtle Makefile build order related issue could be created by this patch.
