2014-05-20powerpc: Remove non-uapi linkage.h exportJames Hogan
The arch/powerpc/include/asm/linkage.h is being unintentionally exported in the kernel headers since commit e1b5bb6d1236 (consolidate cond_syscall and SYSCALL_ALIAS declarations) when arch/powerpc/include/uapi/asm/linkage.h was deleted but the header-y not removed from the Kbuild file. This happens because Makefile.headersinst still checks the old asm/ directory if the specified header doesn't exist in the uapi directory. The asm/linkage.h shouldn't ever have been exported anyway. No other arch does and it doesn't contain anything useful to userland, so remove the header-y line from the Kbuild file which triggers the export. 2013-08-01powerpc/perf: Export PERF_EVENT_CONFIG_EBB_SHIFT to userspaceMichael Ellerman
We use bit 63 of the event code for userspace to request that the event be counted using EBB (Event Based Branches). Export this value, making it part of the API - though only on processors that support EBB. 2013-06-01powerpc/tm: Move TM abort cause codes to uapiMichael Neuling
These cause codes are usable by userspace, so let's export to uapi. Signed-off-by: Michael Neuling <mikey@neuling.org> Cc: <stable@vger.kernel.org> # v3.9 Signed-off-by: Benjamin Herrenschmidt <benh@kernel.crashing.org>

2012-10-30PPC: ePAPR: Convert header to uapiAlexander Graf
The new uapi framework splits kernel internal and user space exported bits of header files more cleanly. Adjust the ePAPR header accordingly. Signed-off-by: Alexander Graf <agraf@suse.de>
2012-10-29Merge remote-tracking branch 'master' into queueMarcelo Tosatti
Merge reason: development work has dependency on kvm patches merged upstream. Conflicts: arch/powerpc/include/asm/Kbuild arch/powerpc/include/asm/kvm_para.h Signed-off-by: Marcelo Tosatti <mtosatti@redhat.com>
