From c25e7581b9b8088910da31702d4ca21c4734c6d7 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Torok Edwin Date: Sat, 11 Jul 2009 20:10:48 +0000 Subject: assert(0) -> LLVM_UNREACHABLE. Make llvm_unreachable take an optional string, thus moving the cerr<< out of line. LLVM_UNREACHABLE is now a simple wrapper that makes the message go away for NDEBUG builds. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@75379 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8 --- lib/CodeGen/MachineInstr.cpp | 5 +++-- 1 file changed, 3 insertions(+), 2 deletions(-) (limited to 'lib/CodeGen/MachineInstr.cpp') diff --git a/lib/CodeGen/MachineInstr.cpp b/lib/CodeGen/MachineInstr.cpp index d44305f333..2435855ca6 100644 --- a/lib/CodeGen/MachineInstr.cpp +++ b/lib/CodeGen/MachineInstr.cpp @@ -23,6 +23,7 @@ #include "llvm/Target/TargetInstrDesc.h" #include "llvm/Target/TargetRegisterInfo.h" #include "llvm/Analysis/DebugInfo.h" +#include "llvm/Support/ErrorHandling.h" #include "llvm/Support/LeakDetector.h" #include "llvm/Support/MathExtras.h" #include "llvm/Support/Streams.h" @@ -156,7 +157,7 @@ bool MachineOperand::isIdenticalTo(const MachineOperand &Other) const { return false; switch (getType()) { - default: assert(0 && "Unrecognized operand type"); + default: LLVM_UNREACHABLE("Unrecognized operand type"); case MachineOperand::MO_Register: return getReg() == Other.getReg() && isDef() == Other.isDef() && getSubReg() == Other.getSubReg(); @@ -274,7 +275,7 @@ void MachineOperand::print(raw_ostream &OS, const TargetMachine *TM) const { OS << '>'; break; default: - assert(0 && "Unrecognized operand type"); + LLVM_UNREACHABLE("Unrecognized operand type"); } if (unsigned TF = getTargetFlags()) -- cgit v1.2.3-18-g5258
