Turn on -Wunused and -Wno-unused-parameter. Clean up most of the resulting fall out by removing unused variables. Remaining warnings have to do with unused functions (I didn't want to delete code without review) and unused variables in generated code. Maintainers should clean up the remaining issues when they see them. 1. Change the usage of LOADABLE_MODULE so that it implies all the things necessary to make a loadable module. This reduces the user's burdern to get a loadable module correctly built. 2. Document the usage of LOADABLE_MODULE in the MakefileGuide 3. Adjust the makefile for lib/Transforms/Hello to use the new specification for building loadable modules 4. Adjust the sample project to not attempt to build a shared library for its little library. Turn -pedantic and -Wno-long-long compile flags on by default. In a few places, avoid the warnings by removing these options in the local makefile. Then, replace those values into the configure.ac script and pass them to the LLVM_CONFIG_PROJECT so that the values become the default for llvm_src and llvm_obj variables. These changes modify the makefiles so that the output of flex and bison are placed in the SRC directory, not the OBJ directory. It is intended that they be checked in as any other LLVM source so that platforms without convenient access to flex/bison can be compiled.
