2010-04-17Use const qualifiers with TargetLowering. This eliminates severalDan Gohman
const_casts, and it reinforces the design of the Target classes being immutable. SelectionDAGISel::IsLegalToFold is now a static member function, because PIC16 uses it in an unconventional way. 2010-03-13rearrange MCContext ownership. Before LLVMTargetMachine created it Chris Lattner
and passing off ownership to AsmPrinter. Now MachineModuleInfo creates it and owns it by value. This allows us to use MCSymbols more consistently throughout the rest of the code generator, and simplifies a bit of code. 2010-02-15Split SelectionDAGISel::IsLegalAndProfitableToFold toEvan Cheng
IsLegalToFold and IsProfitableToFold. The generic version of the later simply checks whether the folding candidate has a single use. This allows the target isel routines more flexibility in deciding whether folding makes sense. Default HasSetDirective to true, since most targets have it. The targets that claim to not have it probably do, or it is spelled differently. These include Blackfin, Mips, Alpha, and PIC16.
