From c6298038bcfc20710430a4ad069bb1f3f069997c Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Cyrill Gorcunov Date: Wed, 24 Oct 2012 23:43:21 +0400 Subject: tty, ioctls -- Add new ioctl definitions for tty flags fetching This patch defines new ioctl codes TIOCGPKT, TIOCGPTLCK, TIOCGEXCL for fetching pty's packet mode and locking state, and exclusive mode of tty. [ No real handlers for the codes though, this will be addressed in another patch for easier review and bisectability ] Signed-off-by: Cyrill Gorcunov CC: Alan Cox CC: "H. This is because tty_port_destructor is not called whenever a tty_port is freed. This was an assumption I counted with but was unfortunately untrue. So fix the drivers to fulfil this assumption. To be sure, the TTY buffers (and later some stuff) are gone along with the tty_port, we have to call tty_port_destroy at tear-down places. This is mostly where the structure containing a tty_port is freed. This patch does exactly that -- put tty_port_destroy at those places.
