2005-11-07[PATCH] RapidIO support: core baseMatt Porter
Adds a RapidIO subsystem to the kernel. RIO is a switched fabric interconnect used in higher-end embedded applications. The curious can look at the specs over at http://www.rapidio.org The core code implements enumeration/discovery, management of devices/resources, and interfaces for RIO drivers. There's a lot more to do to take advantages of all the hardware features. However, this should provide a good base for folks with RIO hardware to start contributing. 2005-05-20[SCSI] remove Documentation/DocBook/scsidrivers.tmplChristoph Hellwig
This document is rather rudimentary and totally outdated. Fortunately Documentation/scsi/scsi_mid_low_api.txt replaces it quite nicely. Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>

2005-05-01[PATCH] Docbook: use custom stylesheetMartin Waitz

2005-05-01[PATCH] DocBook: Use xmlto to process the DocBook files.Martin Waitz
xmlto uses standared XSLT templates to generate manpages, (x)html pages, and XML FO files which can be processed with passivetex. This is much faster than using jadetex for everything. This patch also reduces the number of kernel-specific scripts that are needed to generate documentation. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
