From 19273aec441411b4d571fdb87c6daa0fbe7a33a0 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Andrew Trick Date: Tue, 21 Feb 2012 04:51:23 +0000 Subject: Clear virtual registers after they are no longer referenced. Passes after RegAlloc should be able to rely on MRI->getNumVirtRegs() == 0. This makes sharing code for pre/postRA passes more robust. Now, to check if a pass is running before the RA pipeline begins, use MRI->isSSA(). To check if a pass is running after the RA pipeline ends, use !MRI->getNumVirtRegs(). PEI resets virtual regs when it's done scavenging. PTX will either have to provide its own PEI pass or assign physregs. git-svn-id: https://llvm.org/svn/llvm-project/llvm/trunk@151032 91177308-0d34-0410-b5e6-96231b3b80d8 --- lib/CodeGen/RegAllocBasic.cpp | 5 ++++- 1 file changed, 4 insertions(+), 1 deletion(-) (limited to 'lib/CodeGen/RegAllocBasic.cpp') diff --git a/lib/CodeGen/RegAllocBasic.cpp b/lib/CodeGen/RegAllocBasic.cpp index 18d6f47329..d1b289b363 100644 --- a/lib/CodeGen/RegAllocBasic.cpp +++ b/lib/CodeGen/RegAllocBasic.cpp @@ -342,7 +342,10 @@ bool RABasic::runOnMachineFunction(MachineFunction &mf) { // Write out new DBG_VALUE instructions. getAnalysis().emitDebugValues(VRM); - // The pass output is in VirtRegMap.
