2013-03-01Cache the result of Function::getIntrinsicID() in a DenseMap attached to the ↵Michael Ilseman
LLVMContext. This reduces the time actually spent doing string to ID conversion and shows a 10% improvement in compile time for a particularly bad case that involves ARM Neon intrinsics (these have many overloads). Vectors were being manually scalarized by the backend. Instead, let the target-independent code do all of the work. The manual scalarization was from a time before good target-independent support for scalarization in LLVM. 2013-02-11Add support for printing out the attribute groups.Bill Wendling
This emits the attribute groups that are used by the functions. (It currently doesn't print out return type or parameter attributes within attribute groups.) Note: The functions still retrieve their attributes from the "old" bitcode format (using the deprecated 'Raw()' method). This means that string attributes within an attribute group will not show up during a disassembly. Clang warnings need to be associated with warning groups so that they can be selectively disabled, promoted to errors, etc. This simplistic patch didn't allow for that. The AttrBuilder is for building a collection of attributes. The Attribute object holds only one attribute. So it's not really useful for the Attribute object to have a creator which takes an AttrBuilder. This has two fallouts: 1. The AttrBuilder no longer holds its internal attributes in a bit-mask form. 2.
